Kim Chicoine grew up in Rosthern, Saskatchewan. In 2014, she graduated with a major in finance from the Edwards School of Business with great distinction. In an effort to make 2014 an even more eventful year, Kim obtained her life license and mutual fund license and began working at Wiegers Financial & Benefits. In 2019 Kim completed her CFP designation, a month before she and her husband welcomed their first child Alexandria into the world.
Kim is passionate about reducing the stress and uncertainty that dealing with finances often brings. She focuses on building long-term relationships that are anchored by mutual trust and respect. Getting to know each client on a personal level is pivotal to Kim. Only then is she able to accurately tailor her recommendations to the individual needs and financial goals of each client.
On a personal note, Kim is an avid soccer player, playing since she was only four years old. When she’s not at work, volunteering, or playing soccer, you’re most likely find her doing something else active. She just can’t stay still for long!
