Colton Wiegers brings a lifelong passion for business and leadership to his role as CEO of Wiegers Financial & Benefits. A graduate of the Edwards School of Business with a degree in Finance, Colton’s entrepreneurial journey began early by selling snacks at school and later co-founding Bow Home Services while attending the University of Saskatchewan. The company grew from a small painting and maintenance business into a full renovation firm serving property managers and home builders, eventually employing a team of over 20 and earning recognition as a finalist for the NSBA’s Young Promising Entrepreneur Award.
In 2016, Colton joined the family business, seeking to transition from the transactional nature of trades to a more relationship-focused career. Since then, he has helped grow Wiegers Financial & Benefits into a leading advisory firm serving over 600 businesses and 2,000 families. He has successfully completed all three levels of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) exams and finalized his designation in 2023.
Colton is passionate about community involvement and currently serves on the executive committee of the Greater Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce. He has also been a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Saskatoon and Area for over six years, and was named Volunteer of the Year in 2018.
Outside of the office, Colton enjoys the outdoors with his wife Ally and their dog Koda, especially in the Northeast Swale area where they live. He stays active playing soccer, volleyball, and slo-pitch, and is an avid NFL fan despite a legendary 0–7 record for home teams at games he’s attended.
